We found him in a city shelter crying a sad husky howl, he was too skinny for adoption...rescue was his only option for a chance at life. We couldnt leave this poor boy so we bailed him out. He was a stray so had no name.. we called him Blade. He walks well on a leash, didnt know how to get into the truck, so I picked him up & placed him in the back & off we went. Blade looked out the window so confused & whimpered while I drove. My the time we reached our kennel he had climbed to the front & rested his head on my shoulder.. :) What a sweet boy! Blade arrived at the kennel on 10/23 & is playing a bit with our other huskies. He is a calm husky & is looking for a family to love. Adoption donations start at $250.00 - this is due to the rising costs of veterinary care and boarding fees which are paid for out of our own pockets. As we are not funded by anyone - adoption donations help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs are up to date on shots, altered, microchipped, heartworm tested and on preventive, wormed, given flea & tick meds, groomed and given a new leash and collar.
