Meet Allie! Allie was found as a stray in Georgia and was never claimed. She has since been transported to Husky House in NJ and is looking for her loving forever home. Panda

Adult Male Siberian Husky

Meet Panda! Panda was a stray trying to survive with his two buddies on the streets in rural Texas for over six months. Fosters and rescues were found before an arctic blast hit. Panda was treated for heart worm and went to regular grooming appointments to get his skin and coat to the fluffy perfection it is today! And, with his ice blue eyes he is a show stopper. It was easy to see from the start Panda was a lover, not a fighter. He met no stranger—two or four legged. He lives for playing with dogs, especially puppies and females. He is amazing on car rides as he either sleeps or watches out the window. He will entertain himself playing with toys and, even with most of his teeth ground down from his previous life’s horror, he loves Yak sticks, bones, bully and collagen chews. Panda is a talker when you aren’t listening to him. He’s usually telling you he needs to go outside, he’s hungry, or ready to go play. For a street dog he trusts quickly. He’s never been around cats or children. He went to training camp where the instructor said he is so smart he plays stupid to get his way. Panda will do best in a home with another dog that will play with him and a fenced yard unless you continue to work on his recall training. He will spend all day stalking and keeping the evil squirrels from the yard. He forgets to do his business outside sometimes, because he’s caught sight of a squirrel. Because he can be a bit anxious when left home alone, he was put in a kennel for his safety which he was not crazy about but if other dogs are with him he was left free to roam. Because of his heartworm treatment, he doesn’t seem to have that crazy never ending husky energy a 2 year old normally has. He can play for hours, but will be ready for a nap and then more play time. Adult Female Siberian Husky

Meet Seven! Seven is a female husky who was abandoned at a shelter by her previous owner after being stuck in labor for three days! She was rushed into surgery and was found to have a ruptured uterus, and four deceased puppies along with one living one were removed from inside of her. She was also hit by a car several months ago. Seven will be available for adoption once her puppy is at least 8 weeks old, in late February 2025. Meet Angel, an adorable female German Shepherd! She’s up to date on vaccines, spayed and will be microchipped. Her owner was no longer able to care for her due to health issues. Senior Male Siberian Husky

Azul was one of those New York City Street kids, just a year-old pup when he was saved by Husky House. Azul is very smart and picks his humans to love. He is a large, handsome boy with a strong personality. He will need an experienced owner who is patient and will provide him with the training he needs to be the best he can be. Baby Male Siberian Husky

Meet Bear, from the Orphan Puppies! They were surrendered at 1 day old by a backyard breeder after the mom died and she didn’t know/ want to take care of them of them. Lorraine has been bottle feeding them around the clock for almost 5 weeks! They will be ready for adoption on 8/22/24. Previous Siberian Husky experience is required. Ruby

Female Siberian Husky

Meet Ruby! Ruby is a petite husky (she weighs just 33lbs) who is looking for her loving forever home. Ruby has luxated patellas on both of her back knees, and her previous owners called 911 to get rid of her one day as they were no longer willing to help with her disability, which led to her being brought to the ACC. Husky House pulled her upon hearing about this, as alumni Ripple and current adoptable Whopper both have the same condition and did great with surgery. She will need surgeries on both her back knees, one at a time, with time to heal between procedures. She can be adopted before she is done with her surgeries but will need to be on crate rest for 8-12 weeks after each surgery. Ruby is a very sweet, affectionate pup who loves people and other dogs. Meet Zelda! She is a female husky who was found as a stray in Texas, and gifted her foster mom a litter of puppies as soon as she arrived. Her puppies are now old enough to be adopted, so Zelda is looking for her forever home as well! Zelda is a sweet, friendly dog who is great with people as well as other dogs her size. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and so she cannot play with other dogs again until she finishes her treatment on October 23rd. Meet Archie! Archie is a 5-6 year old male Pomeranian who was rescued from being found left in a dumpster. Now safe at Husky House, Archie is looking for his loving forever home. Unfortunately, Archie has had a few seizures since arriving at Husky House, so he takes medication twice daily to help manage them. Poor Archie is very nervous around people, which is understandable given his history. He does not go out of his way to snap, but may growl or get snappy when people do not respect his boundaries (e.g. try to pick him up when he is uncomfortable). ​Meet Daisy! Daisy is a husky/shepherd mix. She was surrendered back to Husky House by her previous owners who adopted her as a puppy. Daisy took some time to adjust back to being in the kennel and it is clear that she misses being in a home. She is a sweet and affectionate pup outside of the kennel but can be nervous in her room. Daisy is also nervous around fast-moving cars and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard or in a very quiet neighborhood. She is excellent on leash on outings to low traffic areas (such as the woods or the beach) and enjoys car rides. Daisy can also get upset when people don’t respect her boundaries/personal space and therefore would not be a good fit for a home with young children. While she generally likes anyone, she meets at Husky House, Louisa builds trust with individuals the more time she spends with them and may do best with multiple meet and greets before going to a forever home. Meet Maverick! Maverick is a husky mix who is looking for his loving forever home. Maverick was abused by his previous owners, who dumped him at a kill shelter before he was pulled by Husky House. Understandably, he has difficulty trusting people in some situations and can resource guard his kennel as well as his food. You would, too, if you never knew when your next meal was coming and had never had a comfy place of your own to sleep! However, he is very friendly outside of his kennel and is super excited to meet new people in the yard or on walks. His ideal family needs to go slow and be patient, while building trust. As Maverick gets to know and trust volunteers who spend time with him, he lets down his guard and realizes he doesn’t have to protect himself - he even lets one of his favorite volunteers sit with him in his kennel and pet him while he’s eating meals! Maverick also loves playing with dogs his size, although he is easily excited and may need some redirection, especially when playing with female dogs. Young Female Pomeranian / Siberian Husky

Meet Willow! Willow is a pomsky puppy who is looking for her loving forever home. She was saved from a puppy mill along with her two littermates, and like many puppy mill survivors, is fearful of people but shows no aggression despite her fear. Willow is great with other dogs and needs a home with at least one well-adjusted dog to help her gain confidence and learn “how to dog.” Willow is learning to walk on leash would do best in a home with a very secure, fenced-in yard that she cannot escape from (e.g. no small holes under the fence that could be crawled through). We would recommend keeping Willow on a long leash when outside to make sure that she can be safely brought back inside when playtime is over. Willow is crate trained. Meet Alexa! Alexa is a female husky looking for her loving forever home. Alexa and her buddy Balto escaped from their previous home multiple times and were eventually both surrendered by their legal owner to Husky House. The two are not bonded and can be adopted separately or together. Alexa is a friendly, energetic dog who is good with people and other dogs. She does have more mouthy, dominant play style that some dogs may find overwhelming. As Alexa escaped from her previous home multiple times before coming to Husky House, potential owners should be prepared for the possibility that she is an escape artist. Meet Baby Valentine! This adorable Shih Tzu mix was named because he was surrendered on Valentine’s Day. Despite inheriting seizures from his dad, Baby Valentine is too busy being the happiest pup to notice! Baby Valentine needs to take his meds every day (one of them every eight hours—yes, he has a schedule!), but don’t worry—they're very inexpensive. He’s used to taking them without fuss and goes right back to playing with every toy he can find and running around with his foster sister, trying to show her that he’s just as big and brave as she is! He needs a special human who can keep up with his meds routine. Baby Valentine is a ball of energy who loves everyone and everything! Now, he’s looking for his forever home. Baby Valentine gets along great with other dogs, though he hasn't been tested with cats yet. He’s doing really well with leash training and is already pee pad trained. Plus, he’s getting the hang of using the bathroom outside. At only about 10 lbs, he’s a small pup who won’t grow much bigger. Meet Whopper, a young affectionate boy! He knows sit and takes his treats like a gentleman! No barking for this guy, just the occasional husky conversation. Whooper would prefer to be by your side, but he is content tossing a toy to himself or hanging on his bed. He is very resourceful and after playing on his snuffle mat, he turns it into a bed! He is the ultimate love bug and will share snuggles, hugs, and lots of kisses! He has a medical condition called severe luxated patella in both of his back knees, the same medical condition as recent Husky House alumni, Ripple! He hasn’t been able to meet other dogs, but his family said he lived with another dog, a parrot and a turtle. He’s been super friendly with all the volunteers and takes treats really nicely.
